How many of us have suffered a soul in torment? through excess of passion or limitations of reason. If I could bring peace to your soul I would offer you tranquility and acceptance, but unless you also desire inner peace and accept who you are, then my offering is useless.

Passion and reason must live together, hand in hand, for reason alone can create confinement, and passion let loose leads to self destruction. here we experience a conflict of the two.

You would not love one child more than the other, so why favor in excess one sentiment above another?

Equal these sentiments are constructive...unequal they become destructive.

Christmas-shops and adverts are telling us to buy buy buy...toy and publicity companies are becoming richer. Society demands and believes the biggestest and most expensive is best.....but is it?

The pleasure is in giving and not recieving, small things have the same value and pleasure as large expensive things...we have become victims of consumerism.

Financially I can not give to people what they think they need, but I can give them something small and precious, that bought or made and offered with love. Remember those alone, those who are chronically ill and those who carry sadness within them. Remember the innocent victims of wars, disasters, and other causes...people hungry and without shelter.

Christmas is a time when we should look within ourselves and offer to others the greatest thing of all...love.

Life without words

These days have passed and I´ve listened to the ocean pouring out it´s secrets. I´ve heard the rain wash away the troubled thoughts of some and I remember that what we take from nature we must give back

El dia de los muertos

Today here in Spain it´s the day of all the saints, and a day to remember the dead. The cemetries will be full as people file in with flowers as a rememberance, for me it´s a very sad but spiritual day. If like me you are far from those lost then I put flowers on my small alter in my office in the house, and fill it with candles that burn for 24hrs.

This day we should remember all that have lost or given their lives, people unknown to us as well. Victims of major tragedies, to numerous to mention but in our hearts we remember. Victims of war...innocent victims, men , women and children.

Today light an ivory candle in memory of those you have lost and those unknown victims of world events, Let it burn until midnight.

As you light it, visualise the world and the future with fresh eyes and positivity.

All that I Have

Everything we have and own, or think we own.. does not belong to us. Our bodies and souls, our children so precious are only on loan to us, and when we leave this earth to seek another life so we must leave these things behind.

For they were never truly ours to keep.

How lucky that I had copies of all archives, I cant replace the map with the destinations of my fellow readers , but hope to place a new one. Many of you will know of BITACLE, who are using people´s blog content and placing ads on their copies of blogs and keeping the cash...., they have all my content without permission...and many others too. Also my blog was hacked into and things erased. I thought ok thats it ..no more blogging , but why should I cease my blog for a few cretins, so for the time being it will continue. Look on Bitacle to see if they have borrowed your posts.

Masks

How often have we found ourselves hiding behind a mask? To invent someone we aren´t, or to hide our insecurities or faults. For whatever reason we choose to hide our true self behind a mask ....we should consider the consequences. People do not see us for who we really are, if we hide for insecurities then people do not have the opportunity to understand our insecurities, if we hide to create a false image to fit in with a group, then we begin to live a lie, whatever reason we hide we deny the opportunity for others to know our true selves, the true beauty that lies within, the courage of our inner self.
Lay down your mask, be happy to reveal who you really are. Those who are genuine and worthy of your love and friendship, are there for you whatever faults we may reveal, but those that prefer the masked you, are they not your false friends? Are they also not hiding behind their own mask? Preferring the apparition to the reality.
