Seasonal Prickles

"Well, you know that I love to live with you,
But you make me forget so very much
I forget to pray for the angels
And the angels forget to pray for us. "
(Leonard Cohen)
It has been a time of fiestas and giving gifts, eating our fill and enjoying ourselves, but it´s also a time when conflict raises it´s head for some. An excess of alchohol, or a sadness about people no longer with us can trigger problems, if it´s not understood. The excess of merriment can be toxic, and perhaps we forget the real point of celebrations. Those loving relationships can fire into anger especially if the people involved have histories or other families. Sometimes one demands more of the other without considering their needs. Pent up thoughts are aired, and words are spoken that cut like a pointed sword ...... hard to retrieve once spoken...and the hurt buries itself deep within our soul....emerging as a memory at different times. Don´t allow the excess of merriment to absorb us to the exclusion of all else. "Pray to your angel", don´t forget to remember others or they may not remember you. If we answered ourselves honestly, how many of us felt a little hurt by words uttered or an action shown this festive season.

You have to express more your opinion to attract more readers, because just a video or plain text without any personal approach is not that valuable. But it is just form my point of view
