We are all worthy

We need silence, patience and the ability to reflect, and tranquility to calm our nervous tremors or insecurities. Time to reflect apon why they raise their heads and how we can control them. Reflect apon times when nervousness or insecurity has taken control in a situation and what appened. Write down 2 or 3 incidences and reflect apon why you allowed them control, it´s difficult and we think that we would never allow them to take control and influence our life, but we do and they take hold and influence all that we do. Read what you have written, understand why, and discard the paper. Concentrate on on your strengths and values, and what you have to offer...build on that inner strength daily...for we are all worthy, different and have much to offer.

Seasonal Prickles

"Well, you know that I love to live with you,
But you make me forget so very much
I forget to pray for the angels
And the angels forget to pray for us. "
(Leonard Cohen)
It has been a time of fiestas and giving gifts, eating our fill and enjoying ourselves, but it´s also a time when conflict raises it´s head for some. An excess of alchohol, or a sadness about people no longer with us can trigger problems, if it´s not understood. The excess of merriment can be toxic, and perhaps we forget the real point of celebrations. Those loving relationships can fire into anger especially if the people involved have histories or other families. Sometimes one demands more of the other without considering their needs. Pent up thoughts are aired, and words are spoken that cut like a pointed sword ...... hard to retrieve once spoken...and the hurt buries itself deep within our soul....emerging as a memory at different times. Don´t allow the excess of merriment to absorb us to the exclusion of all else. "Pray to your angel", don´t forget to remember others or they may not remember you. If we answered ourselves honestly, how many of us felt a little hurt by words uttered or an action shown this festive season.

Sorry

Sorry is such an easy word to say, at times we use it and it is not necessary. Those who know and love us should understand that maybe a sudden outburst or when we shut ourselves away, is normally for a reason, the need to shed some tears to empty our souls of whatever plagues us, or to suddenly explode to release frustrations, those that really know and love us will understand and allow you to weep or vent those pent up feelings by not taking it personally. Those who are unsure of us , may take it personally or not understand, thus creating a distance between us. We apologise in our lives for many things and this is a good act for those times we hurt or offend others. However we should not feel the need to apologise to take a little private time, to be quiet and think, or to remember and weep...its a cleansing of the soul that each and everyone needs to do from time to time. Those of us who can´t maybe need to find a way to rid their inner self of toxic lifestyles or events, then they will gain an understanding of the importance of these times to ourselves in our private space with our private thoughts. Never say your sorry for allowing yourself to weep.
LOVE IS NEVER HAVING TO SAY YOUR SORRY

solutions

Problems and difficulties are part of life´s path. At times we feel there is no solution, we feel depressed and unhappy. This does not help our situation, when these times appear in our life we should place our confidence in a solution. There is always a solution, it may not be exactly what you want, but a form of solution is better than drowning spiritually.
A solution allows you rid yourself of a heavy load and regain your breath to continue your path.

conflict of emotions

"your soul is often a battlefield, upon which your reason and your judgement wage war against your passion and your appetite"
Kahlil Gibran
How many of us have suffered a soul in torment? through excess of passion or limitations of reason. If I could bring peace to your soul I would offer you tranquility and acceptance, but unless you also desire inner peace and accept who you are, then my offering is useless.
Passion and reason must live together, hand in hand, for reason alone can create confinement, and passion let loose leads to self destruction. here we experience a conflict of the two.
You would not love one child more than the other, so why favor in excess one sentiment above another?
Equal these sentiments are constructive...unequal they become destructive.

christmas

Christmas-shops and adverts are telling us to buy buy buy...toy and publicity companies are becoming richer. Society demands and believes the biggestest and most expensive is best.....but is it?
The pleasure is in giving and not recieving, small things have the same value and pleasure as large expensive things...we have become victims of consumerism.
Financially I can not give to people what they think they need, but I can give them something small and precious, that bought or made and offered with love. Remember those alone, those who are chronically ill and those who carry sadness within them. Remember the innocent victims of wars, disasters, and other causes...people hungry and without shelter.
Christmas is a time when we should look within ourselves and offer to others the greatest thing of all...love.
"And there are those that have little and give it all"
"There are those that give with joy, and that joy is their reward"
(Khalil Gibran)
